Is everyone else loving this November?? It is supposed to 19 degrees today!! better set up the kiddie pool! ok not really, but for sure do something fun outside before the snow flies! We went to the park yesterday and here are just a few cute pics of the girls enjoying the swings!

Ashley is 6 months old today. I just love that little ball of chub. We started giving her rice cereal last week cause I thought it would be fun. she wasn't too sure about it tho...

There was a lot of this face going on. she LOVES it now tho, so don't worry. she makes "numm num mmMMmm" sounds while she eats, its so cute. It's like she can't get it in her mouth fast enough she dives for the spoon, mouth wide, gobbling it up as fast as she can!

Chloe likes it too. gross. she asks for a bite every time ashley has one.

Happy Halloween from my cute little girls! It was such a gorgeous weekend for Halloween, the first time kids haven't had to wear snow suits in a LONG time! my mom said she got like 500 kids!! CRAZY!

We had a good Halloween i guess. ha ha I am not a huge fan of halloween, but i guess the kids like it so thats why we have to do it!! We are so lame we even forgot to carve pumpkins! ha ha I spent the weekend working on this halloween countdown with some friends of mine. Ok this one ISN'T mine, cause mine didn't quite get finished...but this is what it WILL look like someday when it is done!

Chloe loved being a butterfly, thanks to her cousin Lexie for letting us borrow it! It is actually like a 12 month costume and was a little short, so I just put chloe's tutu on underneath and VOILA looks perfect! THe headband wouldn't stay on though, chloe was quite distraught about it.

Ashley was a cute little pig, i thought it would be cute to get a picture of her on her tummy....noooope! ha ha she HATES being on her stomach.

But I did get these cute pics of her in her cute little piggy hat.

The whole fam damly. Ya we are not those cool parents who dress up. like I said....not a fan.

But chloe had fun after she figured out she was getting candy at each house! It didn't help that the first house we went to the dad was dressed up as darth vader and chloe went BALLISTIC! She hated any halloween decorations that weren't pumpkins, and any kid with a mask on just freaked her out. But we did do a little trick or treating around my parent's culdesac and then to gramma heggie's and Nana's house. Then off to the fire hall to see Papa holt, where my dad showed up too and chloe was super excited to see "two papa's!" she kept saying over and over.

Oh and on a side note, we (as in me) started potty training Chloe last week. I was super nervous about it. I was So not looking forward to cleaning up pee and poop all week. But she told me 3 days in a row that she had to "poop" so i put her on and she went! so thus the potty training commenced. And SHE. DID. AWESOME!!! I laid out a bunch of towels on the carpet and the couch just in case and the first day she had 3 accidents....all on the towels, and 5 successes! the 2nd day she only had ONE accident! i was so excited! We spent ALOT of time in the bathroom on day 2 but it was worth it. and she hasn't had an accident since! (oh maybe she had one while she was at my moms i think) At least when she has had her panties on she always tells us. I have put her in a diaper to go out and all weekend cause we were busy busy and not home. but i put her in her panties this morning and she has gone no problem! i am relieved to say the least!! and jumping for joy!! regan said i couldn't post any pictures of her on the potty....so just imagine her cute face reading a book on a toilet. thats what she does!! and she is GREAT at it!! Hallelujah!

SO i just loaded a ton of pictures of my camera and needed to post them so I have them saved. And I need to write down a bunch of stuff that i want to remember. so this is a long one!

Oh and don't worry we are doing MUCH better today after yesterday (see last post) We had a blast swimming and she woke up happy as a clam this morning! phew!

"TO-EE" as she calls herself, with her cheesy grin. She is getting so much better at talking and putting sentences together. She is really good at saying "PEEZ" (please) at least, but doesn't get the concept of thank you. I am pretty sure she has this whole vocabulary that she can (but refuses to) say. Like yesterday she said "Tina" twice. Like many people she refuses to try and say their names for some odd reason. She says Nana, Papa, Bos, and Baby (will not call her ashley). She will not call anyone else by name even tho i KNOW she can....she lets it slip on occasion.

Ashley is always playing with her toes, it is one of my favorite things babies do! she LOVES it when she can actually get a toe in her mouth she just laughs and laughs.

The time is going way too fast for this baby. I am pretty sure she is growing at least twice as fast as chloe did. I am sure its not my imagination.

Love it when she sucks on her thumb, don't tell regan but i secretly wish she would ALL the time. even tho i know its a hard habit to break and it can wreck their teeth yada yada blah blah......its cute.

And LOVE these darling little shoes i scored for a whopping $ .50 at some thrift store.

I started bathing the girls at the same time and they love it. I mean it is alot more stressful for me to make sure chloe is drowning her or splashing her to death. but it does save me some time and they have a blast! we have a little boat for the tub that has a little guy to drive it and she calls it "papa's boat" and "papa" (little man in a cowboy hat) and his boat have to come play every day!

Chloe is a little jealous sometimes of Ashley's cool toys. so she just climbs right in there and helps herself. ha ha its super cute to see them playing together! I can't wait until Ash is old enough where they can entertain each other and i don't have to keep a really close watch.

Chloe had her first pigtails the other day...not that you can really see them in these pics. I asked her to pose for me in the second picture and she just turned around. ha ha

Love my bright eyed baby! Chloe is really into saying everything is "mommy, daddy, and baby" in her books, on tv, or in public. any guy is "daddy" any girl is "mommy" and kids are "baby" you get the idea. its funny. oh and any older lady is "nana" which is sometimes very amuzing.

Your only cool if you eat your breakfast with your sunglasses on....in case you didn't know.

And check it out...she has MORNING HAIR!! yup it finally happened! she loves to get her hair done. when i am getting ready in the morning she freaks out yelling "titty!!" (pretty) and does so until I get her hair pulled back with a bow in it!

Chloe is obsessed with Regan's iphone. He put a couple of games on it that chloe could play and she asks to play it all. the. time. So at night before bed she gets to play "AH AH" for a few minutes. She calls it "ah ah" because thats the sound the monkey makes when she finishes putting the puzzle together.

Ashley has been so good lately. I mean she is always good, but lately she has been ESPECIALLY good! I have laid her down in Random places to play and then come back a few minutes later to find her conked out, snoozing away. I seriously could not have asked for a better baby.

I love that she sleeps for 8 hours at night, and has since she came home with us...it makes for a MUCH happier me!

I love that she is SUPER smiley and we can get the BEST and cutest smiles and giggles with little or no effort at all! She is really ticklish too, and i just love to tickle those chubby toes all day! We took the girls swimming last night and ashley just laughed and smiled the entire time it was so cute! too bad I forgot my camera....we will have to go again.

This was hilarious I was cooking supper and looked over and she was passed out. looks comfy eh? and yes the above picture and the bumbo ones are on the same day....must have played extra hard or something?

Chloe thinks it is hilarious when I go to get her out of her carseat to pretend that she is asleep. ha ha it is so funny. and it is EVERY time! i say "uh oh did you fall asleep" and with her eyes closed she smiles huge and say "DAS!!" (yes)

I am in LOVE with these pictures of chloe on her bike, they might even be frame worthy if I could find a spot in my tiny house.

Chloe LOVES this trike. It was borrowed from one of her favorite cousins, Cam. (Just don't tell him k? that might not go over too well!) Every time we come out of the house at ALL, we have to go for a ride on the trike. She can't quite get the pedals turning but she loves it anyways.

Don't you just love the tongue sticking out? I was ticked these came out blurry, but i still like them!

After taking this picture of Ashley (on the left) today i remembered i had this picture of Chloe (on the right obviously) and I melted! I just love LOVE this sweater! Made by a friend of my Aunt Carole, it is definitely one of my favorites. and i love LOVE 5 month old babies with their pudgy fingers and chubby cheeks and pink little noses. :)

Pulling My hair out.

Ok I don't usually feel the need to rant and rave on my blog. but today I am just feeling super rotten. I am sure this is just normal, "I am a horrible mom" kind of day and I am sure everyone has them. But today for some reason was just awful. ALL I tried to do was take the kids to "rhyme time" at the library and I came home pulling my hair out. My morning went something like this:

1. Chloe freaked out for no reason and wouldn't let me get her dressed.

2. which caused me to yell at her cause i was stressed out cause we were gonna be late. (and i hate being late!)

3. which caused her to bawl uncontrollably while i forced her clothes on and yanked her into the car.

4. which then resulted in a whiney crying drive over there.

5. which proceeded to make her miserable and whine every time the story lady looked at her.

6. she then calmed down but would not listen and ran around chasing the chinese kids all over the room. Making so much noise the story lady had to ask her to stop, which made her cry some more.

7. so i just started to ignore her and play with ashley cause SHE was loving it.

8. chloe then decided to get super jealous and cry and push ashley off my lap. which caused her to get a time out for like 30 seconds of pure torture.

9. she then would not leave when i was trying to go with a full on kicking and screaming tantrum. my back was killing me and trying to carry that damn carseat i was pretty much in tears.

10. she ran away from me when we got outside almost getting hit by a car.

11. refused to hold my had so i had a hold of the back of her coat and had to drag/choke her all the way to the truck.

-fight her into her seat

-where i got kicked in the face

- i yelled again causing more crying

- gave her a drink so i could get some quiet.

12. pulled myself together and went and got me a boston cream to make me feel better. Good thing I have Ashley who didn't make a PEEP the entire time! Love that baby!!

This was all in like a 3 hour period. I was so emotionally drained when i got home i just wanted to cry! I mean who can't take their kids to the library once a week without wanting to slit their wrists?? ha ha Ugggh i just feel like I am horrible. I have been trying really hard to not let Chloe watch so much Tv, and trying to get out of our tiny house so she doesn't get so bored and out of control, but I feel like I am failing miserably. I know she probably is just in a super bad terrible 2's stage that will hopefully pass. But seriously she is just awful sometimes. And SO unbelievably LOUD!! I try time outs but i don't know if they are working. I mean she is not horrible ALL the time. she can be so sweet and loving but it is just like the most extreme emotions ALL the time. Is this normal? is this just who she is? will this pass??? I have heard that girls are hard because of the drama and I think I am beginning to agree with them. Usually I can keep my cool and mostly ignore the screaming and discipline her without getting upset, but for some reason today I just couldn't take it. I am in need of some help. All you moms with toddlers out there....any advice? Cause at this rate I am never going to leave my house again. and that would really really suck.

So while I feel Like I am horrible, and don't do enough stuff with my kids, or clean my house enough, or make supper, or get dressed every day. I am sure tomorrow will be a better day and when Chloe wakes up from her nap I will love her and try to do better. And hopefully swimming tonight will be a better experience than this morning. Cause while I love my 2 year old I don't love this face.

But I do Love her. Alot. And i am sure we will be fine. If I make it to bedtime that is.
